Hi! I love your website!
Hi – I am a “bit” older, stumbled on your site thru Pinterest and became intrigued. I recently filed for divorce after 25 years and 3 daughters. Be thankful you found out as soon as you did because right now, peace and contentment seem like a lifetime away. I am 51 years old, thinking who would ever be interested in dating a 51 year old who is recently divorced and has 3 daughters? No one! It’s not even the dating I miss, it’s the adult friend to lean on during tough times, and the kisses goodnight, and the hugs when I am so tired I can’t see straight. My bed is so lonely. Suddenly all the decisions have to be made by me, alone. My husband has decided to start a new life with his younger, sluttier boss (who BTW has 2 sons, 4 ex-husbands and huge fake boobs). He wants nothing to do with his life we built together. His loss but my daughters don’t understand that. Anyway, enough about me. I hope you are doing well. Looks like it’s been about a year since you started your blog. Congrats on how successful its been. Many say I should do that too. Right now I feel like it would just be a bitch session for me and no one really wants to read that all the time.
Continue sharing your story. When I have time, I will look thru your previous entries and look forward to your new ones. Thank you for being brave enough to talk about the pain and the journey. Hugs -

I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I have a few co-workers who are divorced with children, and they swear by match.com to find men who also have children and can relate. They date more than I do, I’m actually kind of jealous. But take some time for yourself in the midst of all of this. Be easy on yourself, too.

I just came acorss your blog on tastespotting and WOW what an ispiration. I can say I know exactly what you went through unfortunately. My life turned upsdide down 10 year in my marriage and it never turned right side up again. I can say from reading your blog you are a much stonger person beacuse of it and that’s great !! I look forward to your future blogs and a much happier life.
